Just like a possible Ellis trade I think its pretty obvious from our side that we would do it for a package primarily based on Batum or Matthews. But would you do it for both? I think I would but that is a harder pill to swallow.
I really don't want Ellis or Jennings on this team. I could see why we would want Jennings if we think we can mold him but Ellis is just a bad idea, a SG who takes way to many shots is undersized with a usage rate that puts Kobe to shame and really excels in a very fast passed offense. Guy is an amazing athlete and can create his own shot but i'd rather see what Williams gives us then having Ellis on the team.
Or the opposite would be true. Nate would feud with Jennings causing him to become a serious cancer in the locker room and his eventual removal from the team. I see much of Jerryd Bayless in Brandon Jennings. Same kind of swagger, same kind of attitude. Would there be a similar result?
