Then why are the Grizzlies winning, why did the coaches make him an All Star, and why was he the first player since Kareem to get 65 pts & 42 rebounds in two games?

The Grizzlies are winning because they have a great starting 5

    He's had a good year on a good team(finally!)

He's always been able to put up big numbers

Yup, still don't miss him one bit.

Exactly. The Knicks, Clippers, and Blazers didn't lose because of Zach. They lost because he had crappy teammates. Even Kobe couldn't get the Lakers into the 2005 playoffs.

    Ok?

He's also been extremely inefficient and a bad decision maker in his career. I certainly don't miss that, and I don't miss him. When he was traded I believed at the time that the Blazers were better off without him, and I still do.

Congrats to Roy, and congrats to Stat-Bo. My first thought with Z-Bo was wtf? But when looking at the snubs, I guess you could make a case for him being on the team. I wish Aldridge was having a better year, he could've made it if he took another step in his game.

ZBO is actually a really cool shy guy! Just has a bunch of hood rat friends and he has trouble making the right decisions. Congrats brother! I'm still glad we have LA and in the long run will make us a better team. I think Horford got picked, cause they needed a backup Center. Kinda like back when Magloire made the team, cause there was nobody else to pick!

Miles would have been just practice fodder, but his presence would have saved us the trouble of signing Josh McRoberts last year and Shavlik Randolph this year. Also, Nate wouldn't have broken his bone filling in as the 10th man in practice.

But the biggest loss is the Oregonian huffing and puffing about how bad it is to go to an ice cream stand. Canzano and Quick wish he were back, I know that for sure. The moralist cutthroats are bored stiff without him.

    A few things....

    1. Right after you went back on topic you decided to double post off-topic.

    2. Zach is a big part of their success, but I don't know if I'd say he's leading Mayo, Gay, Gasol and crew. Then again I don't necessarily know their team dynamics.

    3. No crap we could use a player like Zach. You know why? Because he's tall. If Oden or Joel were healthy that comment wouldn't have any substance at all. Bringing it up in this context doesn't make any sense.

Well, Bosh more than qualifies for backup C. But I guess most of the coaches voted him in at forward.

Congratulations, Brandon. I loved it that everyone on ESPN said Roy is a no-brainer as an All Star. With so many good guards, and several deserving ones left off, that is quite a compliment.

What blows me away is that Roy being named to the All Star team hasn't elicited much excitement from the fan base. We expect it and we know he deserves to be there. Furthermore, everyone else around the League knows it. THAT in and of itself shows how good Roy is.

Congrats, Brandon. Now do it again next year!;)
