That article is exactly why fans in portland loved him so much. I can sincerely say I wish him the best in all his endeavors. Sent from my SPH-L710 using Tapatalk 2
You're right, that was much more insightful and doesn't make it sound like he is contemplating retirement.
Will he be at the Rose Garden tonight? I'd love for him to be introduced and for the fans to give him an opportunity to show him some affection. I am of the belief he single-handedly saved this franchise and may be its most important player other than Bill Walton and Clyde Drexler. I will always be a Brandon Roy fan.
Unfortunately not. from what ive heard. Too bad cus I bought tickets for the express purpose of seing him! ah well it's sure to be a good game.
Is the arthritis thing not a big deal? I don't see anyone talking about it. How long will it take for it to become level IV? Presumably it'll be a lot faster than it would take in a non-athlete.
And then there's this from BE: http://www.blazersedge.com/2012/11/...-g-brandon-roy-recently-considered-retirement
Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda Brandon Roy will meet with media after practice today for 1st time since arthroscopic knee surgery.
Brandon Roy Presser Today @Twolves_PR: Brandon Roy will address the media today after practice. Availability scheduled for 12:45 p.m. on the main court.
Re: Brandon Roy Presser Today He's retiring. He's going to wait a month and then unretire and sign with the Lakers.
