Nash with a bad back is still 10X as effective as Steve Blake in getting his teammates open shots, just as fast, a better shooter, and not that much worse on defense. Plus he has the balls to lead this team, anyone who claims they wouldn't want him is crazy. It's be a low-risk, high-reward move depending on what we gave up. You can't keep 12 high-potential young guys who all want to play forever so we're gonna lose guys for nothing eventually.

You've got that completely backwards. Nash has maybe 1 or 2 years left in the tank, giving up anything of value to acquire him is a huge risk with a very limited payoff ... try to remember just how much money he makes and that factors into trades.

The only reason I advocate for signing Andre Miller is because he's a free agent, two years younger, is an iron-man, and has a game more predicated on craftiness, strength and size than water bug quickness and jump shooting. Steve does not get into the lane like he used to.
