Greg Oden has been the one thing worrying me about this trade. Can you please post a link to where you saw it was protected?
Done deal: Milicic will get a chance to play in Orlando Thursday, February 16, 2006 By A. Sherrod Blakely AUBURN HILLS -- The last image Detroit Piston fans will have of Darko Milicic as a Piston will be the four scoreless minutes he played on Sunday against New Jersey. It's only fitting considering the player who seemed to have such promise when drafted three years ago, never produced at a high enough level to please anybody. That was among the reasons the Pistons traded Milicic, the No. 2 pick in the 2003 NBA draft, and point guard Carlos Arroyo to the Orlando Magic for Kelvin Cato and a 2007 or 2008 first-round draft pick. The Pistons will get Orlando's 2007 selection if it's not among the top five, or they'll get the Magic's 2008 pick, which is unprotected. http://www.mlive.com/pistons/stories/index...9570.xml&coll=1
I heard on ESPN saying that this Darko thing could be like the Jo situation. How he did not play at the start of his career but as soon as he got PT he did well. I hope they are right.
Yah i agree i believe he may give you guyz 12pts a game wit 5 rebounds and a block by the end of the year and give you guyz two super star posts and then u guyz need to surround them with above average guards and u have ur selves the orlando spurs david robinson and tim duncan. if you dunt no some said darko had the composure of duncan the skills of garnett and cutting ability of gasol and the shot of nowitzki before he got to the nba when it all fell apart. So man this nice if it develops a physical banger with a nice finess score
even if darko doesnt play to well at first at least having arroyo will fill more seats. The latin community loves their arroyo and i dont blame them the kid can flat out play.
