Yeah Benji looked good, but he signed with Elite because the UFC told him to get a fight or two under his belt and then they'd talk contract.

He got that fight under his belt, and with the IFL, I think he's ready for another apperance. At the worst, he's someone to feed to Cote after The Spider demolishes him, and he needs a win under his belt for confidence.

This kind of raises the question about where Tito is at now. He looked interested in joining the EliteXC at their CBS day, and I just don't think he is really welcome back in the UFC, or would fit into the UFC with how stacked it is these days. Lower his asking price, Afflicition maybe, but I just don't see where Tito Ortiz goes now that EliteXC folded.

yeah Tito is in trouble. He's overpriced his underperforming ass and he's running out of options. He's going to have to get paid less than the UFC would have paid him in order to fight again. I can see him never fighting again unless Affliction is stupid and pays him more than he's worth.

Tito didn't leave the UFC in such a way that he could never return.

This opens the door for a TUF 10 season with Tito Ortiz and Frank Shamrock coaching. 8O

true, but Frank said he'd never fight in the UFC again and Dana has said he's out of the Tito Ortiz business... but $ talks.

Where does this leave Tito Ortiz? I've got a feeling he'll be back in the UFC.

only if he lowers his asking price...

I see him going into something non-MMA perhaps.
