well see i didnt say nash had been more successfull in terms of his teams success, but you know, he's making alot more money now then iverson is, he is obviously in a much healthier situation, the mvp's, assists galore, you know he is content with his team and the organization he plays for and they are content with him. he isnt being forced into back up roles and he is much more highly respected and very well liked by almost everybody. thats what i mean, he's in a better situation. he is a better player and his team has been more succesful, to tell the truth, then the sixers or pistons or nuggetts have whilst iverson played for them (barring ofcourse the sixers trips in the playoffs and finals like 6,7,8 years ago now) as for my "Rant", lol, yeah well ofcourse there are other factors the past 3 seasons that contributed to the sixers drop that did not involve iverson, but what leads to those poor decisions, bad lineups etc. has atleast a little to do with the drama that he used to cause on and off the court when he was with philly. also i dont beleive, after the publicized demise of the larry brown/iverson reationship, that many coaches would have wanted to take up that role and take th backseat to a player who's ego was through the roof. i think judging by iversons recent press conference he seems extremely humbled and very honest about his shortcomings, his past behaviour, ofcourse he would be emotional coming back to the city that treated him so well, but its true that he left memphis because they would play him as a starter, so there is still that ego inside of him that, if not dealt with correctly can have negative impact down the road.
