    Are people forgetting that Paul didn't do shit for a long time after Patterson and Nash left?

    Or that he was in charge when the team made some collosal signings? And it's because he kept Neil on so long, and Terry as coach for so long, that the team is in the mess it is??

    Maybe he is now, but when i was friends with his son Matt, Phil Knight was not a big Blazers fan. It's noble if he is doing it to preserve the team's home in Portland. But Phil is a smart business man, and knows it would be a great asset. I am truly in awe of his philanthropy, along with wife Penny. But i don't know if he would spend to the hilts, ala the Warriors owners. Maybe his potential Co Owner would , since he's been involved in the Dodgers free spending. But it's not a given.

    I'd rather be the Portland Trail blazers than a lot of teams. Why always compare us to the Warriors? They make every other team look bad in comparison.

    Not sure this is accurate and if so then i see nothing different now than what happened then under PA?

    Paul Allen loved guards...he'd be thrilled with this era of Blazer ball....Jody is fine...I like that she's expressing herself...before people said she has no interest in the team but I don't believe that for a second....the Blazers have already made her a small fortune since Paul bought the franchise....she knows it'll increase in value over the years...few things have gained value as quickly considering the profit she'd make selling it today....I have no problem with Phil Knight buying the team but the narrative that Jody doesn't give a shit is pure bullshit to me and fan driven..not front office driven. Don't get the outrage. We're lucky to have an owner who's invested in the franchise and flush with cash...Paul trusted her with this and I will as well. Jody signed off on dumping Olshey and starting fresh...she deserves some credit for that
