Rip, I agree with you, but I don't think they are currently targeting the elimination of hunting rifles. They would argue that you're not using a pistol (or automatic/semi-automatic weapon) to shoot a deer or a bear or whatever. I posted this earlier, and it is something along the lines of your good argument. People collect guns. Be they city folk or hillbillies Nothing wrong with collecting guns, each has its own intrinsic value. There's one reason, and reason enough. All the rest are worthy, too.
Denny, I agree that hunting guns, and guns for collection reasons, should be allowed and be legal. But there should be a law that stops you from getting a gun just because you feel like getting one for the hell of it.
I agree with the SC here, I'm in favor of the 2nd ammendment. I have the right to protect myself, my family, and my property. I have the right to hunt. I have the right to own a firearm. There should be stricter gun laws, but I should also be able to own a firearm just to own one, if I wanted. I should be able to go out and buy one, if I wanted.

And very few people would use an antique pistol for a robbery.

Also if you really needed protection, and say that you lived in a bad part of a city, then if you could show that then maybe, after extensive background checks, then you can have a gun. (but limit the ammunition)
There's 300M guns in the USA, but not 300M gun crimes. The prisons only have ~2M or ~3M prisoners in them, in total. It's common sense that 297M+ people are going to be adversely affected if some sort of ban were put in place. I fail to see the logic in banning guns. It's like saying "there was a brawl at a basketball game, let's ban the sport."

Watched it, but its a video interviewing and telling only one side of the story, only people that are against gun control.
