However, with the way everybody has been lowballing offers for Walker, I dont see them seeing him as worth that much.
This whole ordeal has just made me very excited for tomorrow.I'm so glad the draft starts early (11 for me) so we don't have to wait long! This sounds mean of me, but I would crack up if Dominick Davis got injured in the early weeks.
--About what it would take to move from #4 to #2. Report is according to Sal Palantonio, and he talked about how the appropriate cost on the "chart" is #4, #29 and #71 to Saints, for #2, and that is what is being dicussed between Jets/Saints now.Per ESPN.
Now I've seen that OAKLAND is a team that could trade up, but I would think for Vince Young, not Bush.

Bad move.#1 Mario Williams isn't their biggest need.#2 They could have traded with the Jets to get D'Brick or Mario at 4.I hope Mario's style of taking plays off makes him a bust. Houston will regret giving up Bush.

They must have seen something in him though. As for their "Mario isn't their biggest need", that may be true, but if you are referring to "Bush IS their biggest need" then you are wrong there IMO.If I was in charge of who they would pick, I would have traded down to 4 or 5 and taken BRICK
i think a DE is pretty much their biggest need. the switched to a 4-3 and have no DEs except weavor who isnt that great anyways.
Yeah I wouldn't say Bush is their biggest need but I mean... if you're not going to address your needs, why not take the best prospect in awhile in every scouts eyes?Dominick Davis is worth a 2nd/3rd round pick that a team like the Colts would be willing to give up for him. Use that pick to get a G like Lutui or Matua. They most likely will be able to get Winston or O'Neill with their 2nd so if they got a guard, they'd be almost half way to rebuilding their line. And if they get lucky, with their 3rd round pick, they might get C Chris Chester. That would be 3/5 of their line in one draft!Do I need to mention the last DE to be selected 1st overall was a bust with his original team (Courtney Brown to Browns)?
Saints | Team may just go ahead and select R. BushFri, 28 Apr 2006 20:27:02 -0700Peter King, of SI.com, reports the New Orleans Saints may pull the second early shocker of the NFL Draft by selecting USC RB Reggie Bush. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis, from his bunker at Saints' headquarters, said he didn't think he would accept any offers for USC RB Reggie Bush prior to the start of the NFL Draft. "He (Bush) is the No. 1 player on our board," Loomis said during a break in staff meetings at the Saints' facility. "He's the No. 1 player on a lot of teams' boards. To be truthful, I don't expect us to be moving the pick." The Saints appear poised to take the most explosive running back to come out of college football in years. Bush would complement incumbent RB Deuce McAllister, who's returning from major knee surgery.
Ehh, McAllister should kiss his days in NO goodbye after this upcoming season. The Jets might be willing to trade for him next season if Martin says he will retire soon.
