Brees to the Saints could cause a draft free fall for Cutler or Young....the Saints could take Fergeson(best player in this draft), Lineart gets reunited with Chow in tennessee, and all the sudden the Jets have thier pick....but if the Jets trade for Ramsey, they may not be interested in a QB, they may take Mario Williams to replace John Abraham....then comes the slide for Cutler or Young....lets go down the teams after that: Green Bay? not likely to take a QB with Rodgers waiting....SF?....A. Smith means no QB there....Oakland?...maybe, but I hear they really like the idea of retaining Collins and developing Walters....when you start getting into scenarios that have one or both of those guys falling out of the top-5, then things get crazy, as other teams might have enough ammo to come way up and get one of them....Im really looking forward to this draft....theres a tremendous ammount of top tier talent for the 1st time in a long time....
As much as I'd like to see, Cutler or Lineart fall to #16. I just don't see it happening. Maybe Jimmy Williams (CB Va Tech) will be there when the Dolphins are on the clock, but I highly doubt it. Realistically, I can see W. Justice, M. McNeill, or one of the LB's being around.
I think the pivotal spots will be Arizona & Detroit. Whoever, they pick will greatly affect the remainder of the 1st round.
Leinart won't fall by Tennesssee. He's the consensus #1 QB in this Draft. I'm still not sold on Brees going to New Orleans though.
Brees to the Saints? Hmm, that could really mess things up with those first few picks in the draft. I still hope the Titans draft Young, regardless of all of the crap that is going on with him. But, that's just me having my own judgement, I realize that Matt Leinart would probably be a better passer, but I don't like him, for the simple fact of not liking USC, lol. BUT, if he can turn out like Carson Palmer, then I guess I'll be all right with it, haha.

I'm split tho i mean leinhart if im thinking straight has 2 national titles but to his one but thats neither here nor there doesnt really matter thats the collegiant ranks.... As for brees to the saints either way he has the explosive offense weapons on the field in at all positions but in miami he'd have by far a better shut down Defense the Phins would be a better situation in that regard we will see by MIDNIGHT boys! hah! but yes that would possibly screw up the 1st number of picks in the draft.... well see!
Drew Brees turned down a six year 50 million dollar contract by the Chargers. Only two million was guaranteed.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>He left New Orleans without a contract in place either.</div> Thats the key....he left NO without a deal when it was speculated that the Saints werent going to let him leave....I give Saban some credit for getting on a plane and intercepting Brees in Alabama before he could fly to NO....I think that move was particularly strong and thats the reason hes in South Florida right now....
I think the thing that alot of people are overlooking is that Miami can restructre the contract Kevin Carter, J Taylor, & Z Thomas to get even more money.
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (porky88)</div><div class='quotemain'>Leinart won't fall by Tennesssee. He's the consensus #1 QB in this Draft.</div> After Cutler's pro day that's looking less certain. I guess we'll know for sure after 4/2, USC's pro day.
it really depends on what tennesee is looking for... i think cutler has more upside and leinhart will do better than cutler in their first year but i dont think leinhart has much room for improvement

Chris Mortenson has a long line of failures when it comes to picking the next Brett Favre. 1st it was Kyle Boller Then JP Losman and now Jay Cutler... Point being Mort isn't that reliable of a source when it comes to the draft. With that said Cutler is certainly a better prospect than Boller or Losman and should be a top 15 pick if not top 10 but I don't think you can look at the film of Culter playing at Vandy and even think it's better than that of Matt Leinart's and Vince Young's.
I never said anything about Mortenson. Actually I've been watching a lot of NFL Network's draft coverage & Mike Mayock is in love with Cutler. I wouldn't be shocked if all 3 were busts to a certain extent. NFL GM's fear another Ryan Leaf scenario & that's why I think at least one of them will slide to possibly the mid 1st round. Just last year Aaron Rodgers fell shocking most draftniks.

I think it's unfair to compare Cutler to Rodgers. A lot of people are trying to do that and I don't think you are. Cutler has the entire leagued hype around him. Rodgers had one team hype around him. That was SF because John York is cheap and Rodgers is a home town kid..
