any chance of barry coming back 2 chicago? trade-wise or signing maybe involving fizer? barry can hit the 3 and is pretty fast. Barry and Hinrich would mack an off the hook backcourt...
If the Sonics want a 2 year deal and Barry wants a 4 year deal, why do they not comprimise and sign for 3 but for more money per year than Brent's 4 year deal? What are the terms of the offer. Maybe the Warriors can sign him as a FA in the off season. I know alot of Warriors fans are enamoured with him. I do not see what is so special about him.

People are enamoured with him because he is such a great influence on teammates, both on and off the court. He is an extremely smart basketball player, and most importantly is a real leader. He is the glue in Seattle, and it's no coincedence that his injury has resulted in a major slide. Can't see him signing in Golden State. He'll either stay in Seattle, sign in Denver with his brother or go to a contender.
People can dream can't they? I don't see why he would not come to Golden State since they will have some cap space this summer if/when Damp opts out of his contract.
I had underscored his importance to this team, admittedly I thought Ray was the glue, but like Dez I don't think it's a coincidence that a slide in wins and deterioration in team play go hand in hand with Bones. It's always amazing to me how people underscore the presence on the court of veteran leadership. It's every bit as important as any other aspect of the game. You lose that you lose an important voice of reason and direction on the floor and you lose someone who has a huge influence on the gameplay, tempo etc....
That reason alone is why I think this year's Warriors team is better than any of the most recent year's Warriors teams. Thanks to Cliffy, NVE, and Chaney for showing the old Warriors like Damp, and the young guys like Jrich how to win.
Thats also why you see teams like the Clippers struggling. You can have all the explosive young'ns on your team that you can get but without veteran leadership a team will most likely play sloppily and selfish. I find it incredible that one person can have such a large impact on entire team.
Well it is no coincidence that Cleveland have become a much better team since trading for Eric Williams. Good leaders on and off the court are getting rarer and rarer, and this is why Brent will be highly sought after.
hmmmmm....at no point at all did any of you guys answer the question of this thread, but thanks for the input??
