<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Infante:</div><div class="quote_post">I was just thinking... This child could actually lead to an early retirement for Bron. Of course not anytime soon, but I feel he will give in the towel early after a few accomplishments to fill in for lost times for his son. Worth a thought.</div>

He was likely going to have a kid some time during his career, so I don't it'll effect his retirement, which is a long time away.

Well I gotta say, even LeBron is pretty young, having a child will positively affect his career. So will getting married, whenever that happens. A child, in my opinion, is one of the great gifts in life. LeBron will mature because of this, and that will make him a better leader.

thats true that a lot of players eventually retire to spend time with their families but when LeBron is 35, this kid will be 16 and will grow up in such circumstances that he will be able to take care of himself....makes you think
Oh by the way i know he'll have butlers and that kinda deal but he will be matured a lot by being in the public eye and having a famous father...trust me, i'm luke walton [IMG]

All I can say is congradulations to the guy and welcome to fatherhood. He's done everything right so far and just continue to do so.

<div class="quote_poster">Quoting Accord:</div><div class="quote_post">Not to take anything away from this, how how many 19 year old girls want to have a child? There's probably some sort of fiscal motivation behind this, his "longtime GF" probably wanted this kid so she would be locked in with LeBron and his bank account for life.

I heard they want to name the baby "Cha-ching" [IMG].

    But anyways, congrats [IMG].</div>

[IMG] [IMG] but I've met my share of girls during all my years of HS that wanted kids. I'm not sure whats the ratio, I just can't believe I've met at least 10 girls that wanted a kid at 14. Even a couple guys, WTF is that? Boy I don't know why that is, not being able to sleep right and not every teen is the Olsen twins so I can't understand whe they think a baby is just gonna be free.

Congrats to LeBron. That's just beautiful.

Ya'll don't have anything to worry about, a child'll inspire LBJ to play harder.
