Agreed, fits a bigger need, IMO. Unless we got them both. CJ, Kaman, RObinson to Brooklyn for Brook. Wright, Claver, 1st to Denver for Chandler. Sign Nate, push real hard for Ray Allen, though doubtful. Sign a 3rd PG. Lillard/Blake Wes/Nate/Crabbe/Barton Nic/Chandler Aldridge/Freeland/Leonard Robin/Brook/Freeland
Interesting idea and I like your aggression but I think it's too many roster moves. I think Neil would be afraid that that would effect the overall chemistry.
For me it depends on his health. Before his foot issues he was putting up 20 PPG on an elite 25 PER. Insurance .......for LMA?
agreed and highly doubtful it'd happen. My biggest issue in it is moving wright. Lillard has seen his previous friends moved and I worry about it continuously. that being said, I worry about chemistry, but a kaman-brook swap imo won't hurt us on that front. I assume the guys recognize that Robinson is ok to go.
If his foot checks out you have a legitimate guy that you can ISO. You don't want this in OKC: The epitome of huge risk, high reward.
You can't play him and Aldridge together. Its one of the more silly ideas I've seen. Bill Simmons likes to rile you guys up.
Why cant you play him and LA togethor? One of them would just have to play closer to the basket. Both can play close and both can shoot from range, neither is a savant on D but it doesnt seem like we would be any worse on D then when LA plays alongside either Meyers or Kaman.
Why would I be worried about anyone going to OKC and doing any ISOs? They have We(go)stbrook. He'll freeze the entire team out if he has to.
Lillard wouldn't care if the 12th man on our roster got let go. He wants to win. This whole thing is a red herring.
Lillard is just being a good teammate saying he likes the roster, he'd probably drive Trob and Dwright to the airport if we were getting an Afflalo, Chanlder, or Lopez back.
All the rest probably sure but not Chandler. I can almost guarantee you that both Dame and Wright feel he is as good as Chandler. And they would have a legit argument if you look at advanced stats. And then throwing in a first as well? No thanks. Wright won't be in this deal. I would bet a button on it.
He absolutely would care if he lost Wright, but as always, it would depend on what came back on whether he would be thrilled or not.
True but you keep making it sound like he'll have a huge issue and be upset enough to possibly leave. I'm just sayin' that's utter crap. ;-)
