I went to Larry Steele basketball camp. Funniest memory is when Richard Anderson came in wearing a t-shirt and some of those biker compression shorts (nothing else) and asked all the campers if they knew how to play "bump" (aka Knockout).
Jack Ramsay after Lakers playoff game- Pissed as Hell Billy Ray Bates in a black Camaro up on Mt.Tabor Clyde and Steve Jones by the Willamette Water Front Darnell Valentine: Kicked him out of the Avalon Theater Martell at Cheescake Factory drinking underage Jarrett Jack pretending to be talking on his phone at California Pizza Kitchen

1: Saw Derek anderson at Washington Square when i was like 14 and went up to him all by myself and shook his hand. My friend ran to field of dreams to buy a derek anderson rookie card and I asked derek anderson to sign it and he said to meet him in the food court in 20 minutes and he would sign it. We went up there 20 minutes later and he was out of sight. What an asshole. 2. Saw Brandon Roy about a week after he was drafted at T.G.I. Fridays and he sat about 10 feet away from my friend and I. We were watching the T.V and he was on there being interviewed on channel 8 as he was sitting right next to us. Thats when I realized it was him hahaha.
Back a few years ago I got stuck standing behind Bill Walton at a Dead show at the Gorge. Yes, he's damn tall and I had to slide over to be able to see. He seemed happy and was dancing a little. I won a contest to do an inning of Portland Beavers baseball on the radio. It was the Schonz and ...some other guy (sorry other guy). They asked some questions about me and somehow I ended up talking about Pete Rose and wishing he was in the Hall of Fame. Schonz looked pissed like he totally disagreed and didn't say much... High 5'd Jerome Kersey outside the Rose Garden ticket office on the morning when Blazers/Rockets tickets went on sale. Was standing right near Wheels when he "Boom-Shaka-Lacka'd for the playoff ticket line in the middle of the night last year My kid's favorite player is Travis Outlaw because he got to shake his hand at the fan fest...
Long long time ago (1990 to be precise) I worked at Emanuel Hospital lab. I left the lab with a bunch of specimens for the upstairs lab and ran into a lost looking Clifford Robinson in the hallway, wanting to know where the men's room was. Saw Chris Dudley walking over the BART ramp from the station to Oakland Coliseum. He actually saw me first and said, hi, remember me, Chris Dudley. LIke I'd forget!
This weekend I saw Terry Portter a couple time at Sunriver. Once at the grocery store with his kids and then the next day walking his dog around.
