The Wizards also announced that veteran swingman Bryon Russell decided not to exercise his option for the 2003-04 season, becoming a free agent.

He will be a good pick up for a contender looking for a solid defender and a veteran with playoff experience.

Sixers should get him, he would provide solid minutes off the bench.
