If we land Hedo and Miller, we are really only missing one thing: backup PF. With Chicago's draft of Johnson and Gibson, Tyrus could be attainable. He's only 22 (going on 23), his shotblocking and rebounding would be extremely valuable off the bench.
I'd go after McDyess. McDyess is at an age where he probably wants to come play for a contender, and he was the 8th best rebounder in the league. He's also much better offensively than Thomas, who is a clutz offensively. If we landed him, we'd have 3 of the top 10 rebounders in the league on our team!
Boston and SA are not good places go to "ring chase", but after Portland gets their new FAs, they are in the mix as well. We're going to be competing for a title next year, not just to make the playoffs. We are a ring chasing destination.
