I like Buck for LMA, but not at all for Greg.

Answer: Logic and facts are not rude during the regular season or off season unless they refute my assertion. Basically it only applies to my posts, thoughts and, whims. It's very simple, it's all about me all the time.

Pippen is a loudmouth who criticized every GM he ever played for. No owner will hire him for an office job unless they want a loose cannon sabotaging operations. On Thursday, the Bulls made him their Ambassador. Maybe they're trying to get him out of the country.

Buck would be a good PR hire, but I don't know.. he'd be great for LA to help him with rebound positioning and stuff like that, but G.O. needs someone to help him with footwork in the post. And the fact that Buck has never been a coach before is a factor.

I was wondering the other day if Dante Cunningham is the same size and weight as Buck Williams. Is he?

I remember hearing that Buck was just not coaching material because (surprisingly) he was too lazy for it.

I'd love the hire. Buck was the backbone to the team once he became a Blazers and I'd love him to give our bigs the same mentality.

The Blazers had Clyde, Jerome, Terry & Duck but never got past the first round. They added Buck Williams, went to the WCF 3 tmes and Finals twice. The guys credit Buck with getting them over the hump.

    Sounds good to me.

Nah, I read a really nice article about him a couple of years ago (I think it was a maryland based newspaper?). He left the game, and when guys leave the game it becomes very difficult for them to get back into it and in Buck's case he had his construction company so when he made overtures about returning to basketball he made it clear that he was looking for a front office job so he wouldn't have to travel. If Buck is seriously considering getting back into the game as a coach it must mean that he's changed his tune about not wanting to travel or maybe the construction business has gotten so bad that he's willing to bend now.
