Hard to get excited barely winning in an overtime game at home against a tanking team with the worst record in the league.

Portland's 20-4 record (83.3%) against the Eastern Conference is the best mark of any West team against the East this season.

That means if you take out the Eastern Conference, the Blazers are a .500 team.

Hey, it's a win and I'll take it! Nic had another great game, and how the hell did Dame get 20 pts again? For a long stretch I didn't think he'd get double digits

I see it in the predictions game every year, the more the losses rack up, the fewer people participate in the predictions game. Early in the season we regularly had 40-50 predictions per game. Now we're lucky if we break 20. A poor streak tends to dull enthusiasm both for the team and, it seems, all things associated therewith.

Most teams we play against have the center come out and meet the guard coming off the pick and double the ball handler and give the PG time to recover, but Portland has the center sit back near the hoop, which gives the guy coming off the pick a ton of room to operate.

Wes played really well tonight as well. Bounce back game for him for sure...Bucks were desperate for a win and played a tough game

I agree. I enjoy the blowouts. Players like to play heros though.

    Go back to bed.

You don't get it then, a 1 pt overtime buzzer beater win is way more fun than a blowout win, anyday.

Wes, Batum and partially Lopez, deserve the game ball.

To me blowouts are really, really boring, then the 4th qtr the 3rd string gets to see if they can hold it and they rarely do. I like the down to the wire matches in any sport.

But you're cutting it close with each game. I still say give me the blowout which captures the imagination of bigger and better things to come.

This here, the team is barely holding it together.

The Blazers need to get their confidence back (in close games). tonights game hopefully helps, but not having Lamarcus changes how their offensive flow is.

I really hope they address the defense during the off season, but not necessarily at the expense of the offense too much. Though it does need more inside touches.
