I was just going to post this, good signing, he's there to replace Damon Jones, and could be startign early in the season depending on how T.J. Ford progresses.
Does anyone know the details of the contract? How much did he make? He's a good addition to the team, and an upgrade over Jones, but I was hoping all along that the Rockets would get him.

Mike James is Damon Jones that plays defense, they had similar scoring stats last season. I believe the contract is 4 years 15-18 mil ?Mike is a terrific team player and a person of great character,? said Harris. ?He has progressed over the past few years while playing a number of different roles as a point guard. Last year with Boston, he scored over 10 points per game as a starter. When he moved to Detroit, he fit in nicely as a solid reserve and was a key contributor during the team?s run to the Championship.? ?Along with his NBA championship experience, Mike brings an added defensive presence to our backcourt,? said Head Coach Terry Porter. ?As a point guard, he?s our first line of attack on the defensive end and we saw first-hand the intensity and toughness he brings to the court. He knows the hard work and effort it takes to win and we?re looking forward to him being a part of our team. ? From Bucks.com
This is a nice pick-up for us and gives Ford a breather without worring about his team doing bad much, or if Ford can't play he is good player to fill his shoes.
