Hey CBBI..... Hard to take you seriously with that bobble head doin its thing. LOL 8-13 3's. Well I'll be......
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting polarbear:</div><div class="quote_post">very good win tonight, if all goes well cavs will be three games out of 5 spot and if miami beats new orleans, 4 games out of 4 spot. its good to be a cavs fan lately, if thats not too obvious to state.</div> Well Miami are doing just that. Also Portland are controlling their game with the Bucks. NY now beating the Wizards. So New York and Mimi are really sticking with us.
we started out well at the line, then started missing and splitting pairs definitely something that should be addressed
I'm glad the starters got to rest at the end of the 4th. Silas uses the starters so exclusively, you always fear their legs might get heavy, tired and begin to be a step slow and lack lift. But tonight's game let the team rest some and get the bench play. My notes: James: Most impressive with his blocks, really. He's getting good at timing shots. Blocking shots isn't always about how high you jump but rather when you jump. Big Z: He totally had his way in the middle and I honestly thought Chicago would give him a harder time. The big machine was totally awesome. Boozer: True blue-collar style production. Sometimes the Booze is reminding me of Elton Brand in some ways (not needing plays run for him to score). Diop: Showed an eagerness to play when he got in. I'm always going back and forth on his jumpshot. Some days, he seems like he can hit a shot when he sets his feet first. Other days, it seems like Diop has no range. As of right now, I don't know where I stand on this. McInnis: This guy hits some difficult shots every single game that makes me shake my head. Outside of LeBron, Jeff might hit some of the wildest and most hardcore shots. Wagner: Love him, hate him. Goes from tossing wild treys to beautifully stroking that same shot I scolded him for, late in the 4th. I really think he could become a good, regular shooter and not a streak shooter I once thought. ---- What shocked me most was the 3rd quarter. Once the Cavs responded strong, I knew it would be a good day. Silas needs to have his team come out and play the second half strong like today. Sometimes the team comes out sluggish to begin the next half and let's hope that becomes a thing of the past.
We have been good at the line when it has mattered this half of the season after a terrible start in November. I guess tonight with that big lead, the concentration levels are not quite there. Are we starting to look at home court advantage here! Milwaukee and New Orleans slumping further tonight.
What a game. The streak continues. 11-3 since the all-star game, and 7 in a row. They are smokin' hot right now.
Recap <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">CLEVELAND (AP) -- Zydrunas Ilgauskas scored 24 points with 17 rebounds and the Cleveland Cavaliers won their seventh straight -- their longest winning streak since 1997 -- with a 111-87 victory over the Chicago Bulls on Tuesday night. Carlos Boozer added 22 points and 13 rebounds, and LeBron James had 17 points, eight assists and five blocks for the Cavs, who improved to 11-3 since the All-Star break. With its sixth straight home win, Cleveland also avenged a 92-81 loss to Chicago on March 1 -- its last loss since embarking on the club's longest winning streak at home since getting 10 in a row from Nov. 11-Dec. 11, 2001. Jamal Crawford had 17 points and Kirk Hinrich 14 for the Bulls, who dropped their seventh straight and fell to an NBA-worst 18-49. </div> http://sports.yahoo.com/nba/recap?gid=2004031605&prov=ap
Man what a great game for the Cavs. Will the Cavs ever lose? I don't think so, that includes the playoffs. I thought that Boozer had a very good game, and prolly the reason we won, oh yeah along with that guy we call Z. LeBron had some great plays. He didn't need to score to be effective in this one. Can you image this team next year if we get a couple of good scorers? Oh man!!
To put that into perspective. Lebron was 12 last time the cavs had a streak like that. Am i the only one that thinks that's crazy?

Cavs were all over ESPN2's Fast Break. They interviewed LeBron James after the Bulls game. They gave Z, Carlos, and McInnis plenty of play/pub. They all seemed to agree that the Cavs at the very least were the NBA's 4th best team in the East.
<div class="quote_poster">Quoting cArMeLo15:</div><div class="quote_post">Call me crazy, but Detroit is probably shitting their pants now.</div> Somehow I doubt it, I'm sure wherever the Pistons players are right now they are likely relaxing,at a club or a bar. Or in Sheed's case smoking a joint Hopfully Cavs still have that streak going on sunday, both teams are in good form and It will likely be a good match-up. Cavs keep on rolling, they are becoming Memphis of the east.
We might not play Detroit.... seriously, we could surge into the 5th or even 4th spot! 3 back of Milawukee and 4 back on New Orleans with 15 to go.... not impossible...
^ I am not so sure of that, but it would be a close series I believe, long as the refs would call it even.
I now expect the Cavs to at least grab the 5th spot and it's very realistic they can get to the 4th spot. Both the Hornets and Bucks are fading. If either happens the Cavs should win a 1st round series against either the Bucks or Hornets. I don't want to face the Nets or Pacers in the 1st round. I have to agree about a Pistons matchup. The Cavs can give them a series.
