As for the series, I think the Heat will lose.I'll still root for them every game but I just don't think Wade's body can take the pounding this season. And plus many other players are banged up.But the Heat still have vets so it's possible that the Heat can pull it off. But without a healthy Wade, it's going to be hard.
No posts in this thread for me tonight. I don't have CSN in my dorm, and I'm going to the Cubs game today.
Bulls lead the series 2-0 :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2:
Well looks like the Heat might be on the brink of elimination. Not impossible to pull off a comeback but when Wade went down, the team went down. After his surgery this off-season, the Heat should contend again next season.
And the Heat are HISTORY!! :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2: :beerbang2:Now Walker can do that stupid little dance all summer long, Posey can perform lap dances for David Stern, Wade can cry like a little baby, Shaq can bitch all summer long, and Mourning and Payton can be gay. And Pat Riley can be a douche. I FUCKING HATE MIAMI!!
Hahaha good luck against the Pistons. There was little chance that the Heat would have repeat this year. Wade's stats went down everywhere since his shoulder injury and he shyed away from driving. After surgery, regaining confidence in his shoulder, and finally having months rest, he'll be the same player that can own a team.Next year we'll be true contenders again.Although... it would be funny if the Bulls go to the Finals and lose. Chicago would be known as the "Almost" City of Sports. hahahahaha
I think the Bulls can beat the Pistons, but I don't know if they will. But anyways, the winner of that game will represent the East in the Finals. As for the West, it looks like the Suns or my Warriors will win it all.
although I am a HUGE warriors fan, i still am unsure if we can pull it out against the mavericks. if we win tonight, id put my money on the warriors. if we lose tonight, id put my money on the mavs.and even if the warriors beat the mavs, they'll then have to deal with mcgrady and the rockets, and even if they beat them, they'll have to deal with either the suns or spurs. the suns we'd actually have a chance of winning one or two games.the spurs would beat us 4-0.so yeah, dont put your money on the warriors making the finals. obviously, ill be rooting for them, and you should too, since they are underdogs and you got no one to root for , but dont count on it, lol.

You are kidding if you say they can contend next year. Chicago has their number. Now that the Baby Bulls are no more, we have them. If you remember last year, we played them harder than anyone, and had we not fucked up at the end of games 1 and 2, we could have swept the series. This team has playoff experience now, when we didn't last year. It was Deng's first playoff trip, and the 2nd trip for everyone else. We dominated them last year w/o Ben Wallace. Face it. Miami is done.
Haha you've got to be kidding me.Did you forget that you beat a team whose star player that Jordan-esque singlehandedly carried the team to the ring has a shoulder that requires surgery? No need to mention that... an injured star player means nothing to a team at all.
Did you forget last year?? We played them harder than anyone last year, and we would have won the series had we not fucked up at the end of games 1 and 2. Face it, chang. Miami is done.

Awwwwwwww, we have a little baby here.Chicago outplayed them this year, they outplayed them last year. Face it. No one played them harder than Chicago. You could see it in their veterans this year. They didn't care. They got their ring, they don't care anymore. Shaq is old. We dominated the Heat even when Shaq and Wade were healthy. We trashed them on Opening Night.I'm sorry, but Miami is done. Walker, Payton, Zo, White Chocolate, none of them care anymore now that they got their ring. Shaq is going to be 36 next year. Wade is not good. He gets so much help from the refs it's not even funny. Someone, they be reaching in, don't even touch Wade or the ball, and the refs, they be calling a foul all the time. And don't be surprised if we knock out Wade or Posey next year to teach a lesson about the thug actions of Posey.

And they beat us by good margins too.And yeah, Zo and Payton are old and should retire. But the attraction of Wade and Shaq will attract good FAs to play with them, just like how those role players went to Cleveland to play with LeBron. We only kept them on as courtesy and loyalty. You are probably the only person on this board that thinks Shaq sucks. Almost every team in the league would still love to have him on their team, even at 36. He said he might retire by the time he reaches 37-38.I would like to point out that if the Bulls don't win a championship within the next 3 years, it'll be hard beyond that cause the nucleus will be hard to keep together cause there's plenty of money available on other teams to snatch the young guys away from the team. And players like Deng, Gordon will want star money or at least equal to what Hinrich is getting and they deserve it. The team won't be able to afford it. Actually, when some of those guys hit FA, the Heat will have a load of money to throw out there since Williams and Shaq would be off the salary books by then (quite possibly even next season). For now, you guys can enjoy good cap though.I don't see how you're calling me a baby when you're the one that complains about every single game and call that goes against the Cubs, Bulls, and Bears... :whistling: You also are probably the biggest asshole on this forum for wishing and cheering an injury on someone. But you don't have to worry about that since Posey will probably leave the team in free agency. And in conclusion, the simple fact you said Wade is not good simply erases all of your credibility. But there's no point in me denying the Bulls are better this year. But if Wade wasn't injured, it's hard not to wonder if he'd have performed better.

He ordered PJ Brown to start it.[quote name='chang' post='91282' date='May 1 2007, 02:33 PM']And in conclusion, the simple fact you said Wade is not good simply erases all of your credibility. But there's no point in me denying the Bulls are better this year. He is aided so much by the refs it's not even funny. If he didn't get the help he does, he would be a good player, not great. The Bulls would have won even if Wade was healthy. He can't do it all by himself. The supporting cast didn't care anymore after getting their ring.
