All of those guys will know where they are going by June 1st. It will all play out in the same time frame. If anything, the free agent frenzy will make the teams that missed out even more eager to get solid players in good deals, like the bulls did when they panicked and signed Mercer (an example of the frenzy mentality, not the good signing). If the knicks strike out next summer on the big fish, which is a distinct possibility, they'll be begging for Hinrich or Salmons.
