I agree we should start playing the young guys and stop playing the hurt veterans or the veterans that just aren't setting a good example on how to play defense or pass the ball. That kind of selfish or inefficient play from the vets belongs on the bench.

I'd welcome a Nick Van Exel (in his prime) player anyday. Somebody that can score and playmake pretty good numbers with a knack for finishing at short, medium and long range distances is what I like. I actually liked Claxton for a while, but his injuries and the fact his shot looked so ugly really bothered me. But I really liked the fact he could create at will and work his way to the line. He beat some backcourts going AI style. Now if Ellis can just knock down his free throw shots and hit 6 of 7 or 7 of 7 versus 4 of 7 or 5 of 7 or lower. These missed free throws are just killing it for me. It means these guys either got no mental game or they just aren't practicing. If it's mental, that's not fixable for most players.

They say Jrich and Foyle can knock them down easily in practice, but chokes in a real game.

cus there is a little bio on him and that is after last year .... as a senior he is doing it again..... and conistency ..... he is clutch as well.... also ....amazingly ...he graduated in 3 1/2 years and has started on his masters..... i know intelligence does not always translate on the court (foyle).... but this guy is a talent and would be a steal in the 2nd round.... the next Ellis or Arenas

 

Oh and i think he is like high 80's from the line.... is the go to man down the stretch and knocks down those clutch free throws when the team needs them.... ice water veins.... I would definitely say he is solid mentally.

 

Sounds pretty cool boog. I'll look into his game if I can catch it on TV or online.
