Ah, it still had my internet data from when I was in Wisconsin last week, and thus why it was blacking out the BUlls vs. Bucks game. GOt it all fixed now.
Is it just me, or can none of our bigs (and this is including Deng/Nocioni) pass? These guys when they're downlow still draw defensive attention, leaving Rose/Gordon open on the perimeter, but our big's never hit them for the open shot. If you watch a team like San Antonio, or the championship lakers of the 2000's, they made a living off of passing it out of the post.
Deng and Noc are both SF's, not bigs. They're wing guys. And Noc is a shooter, and Deng is "trying to be more aggressive." So don't expect them to pass. But Noah can pass, although everybody plays him to pass, so he isn't as effective as he could be. And somebody told Gooden he was a low post threat, so he isn't going to pass, either.
Gooden needs to find a new good luck charm because he's used up all the mojo in the one he's got now.
Pretty much same story as usual, the Bulls go as Gordon goes. Ben Gordon is starting to heat up though, 2 straight shots, maybe he can get things going.
That's why I cringed every time Boylan the Clown benched Gordon for the fourth quarter when he was slow early. Gordon is mentally tough, it's just a matter of him missing shots when he misses, not a lack of confidence or anything like that. He can turn it on at a moment's notice, and once he is on, the Bulls seem to just score on the team in bunches.
Rose and Deng both take two straight questionable shots, and Ridnour is able to score easily in transition twice in a row. Give the ball to Ben freaking Gordon.
Gordon's gone from 1-9 to 8-16. 7 straight makes. Rose's assists have gone from 1 to 8. Helps when first Deng then Gordon go off.
Gordon will have to bail us out a 2nd time. Nocioni has to be benched for eternity. The guy is not a good basketball player anymore.
