<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE (BENGALSFREAK144)</div><div class='quotemain'>Adam Jones is like the Ultimate Bust right now...and so is Alex Smith. Ronnie Brown, i believe shouldn't start this year, he needs to get behind a veteran to share the carries to understand the game better. I was an Auburn fan, until we lost all 4 of our best players...but Cadillac is going to do better cause he has Charlie Garner and Micheal Pittman to learn from... While Brown...has no veteran RB...</div>

First off, Alex Smith hasn't even played a down yet. Secondly, Pac-man still has a few games to prove himself to me and then I'll be able to say if he's the "ultimate bust" or not. Third, the Bucs dropped Charlie Garner 2 months ago and Pittman got 0 touches for 0 yds!!! Yeah, Cadillac learned alot from that one guy!?!

Finally, Ronnie Brown is going to do quite well in this league, regardless if he has a "veteran to learn from" or not. He will be the complete back. Brown is going to be a poor man's LaDanian Tomlinson.... book it!

It's not a matter of good or bad at this point... Benson is going to continue to split carries for most of this season. Cedric is going to be a big part of the Bear's future, but right now he'll have to share carries. We won't find out if he's a bust until the Bears do something with Thomas Jones, who has a lot of money going against the cap... you just can't sit a guy like that.

Also.... please learn to type. It looks like my eight year-old nephew turned that post in! :cheesey:

I disagree. He has the smarts (graduated from College in 2 yrs) & other intangibles. His arm strength isn't Favre-like but its not Feidler-esque either.

Once, AS learns to play under Center and adapts to the speed of the game, he'll do just fine.

THANK YOU!!! How could anyone call Alex Smith a bust waiting to happen when he hasn't even suited up for the regular season... The fact of the matter is that Alex has boat-loads of potential, decent mobility, and comes from a good system in college. I have to agree with BA here. Smith is going to do just fine.

Didnt say he was a bust, said he was bust waiting to happen, it is called speculation.

Its quite possible that AS could be a bust. However, having watched him play college ball, I doubt it. We'll never know until he plays for an extended period.

Harrington is for all intents and purposes and its looking like Carr may be that way too.

Gogo, its good to have you back. Where were you last week after Miami's 1st victory? LOL.

i wouldnt say Carr is a bust, its just that he has no o line and thats why he is doing bad. But if the texans(when they fired dom capers this year) finally get him some protection through free agency and the draft, he will finally have a good year.

Harrington has no reason he hasnt succeded. Carr would excel in the lions system

The Texans should call Ross Verba if they need O-Line help. He paid a roster bonus back to Cleveland so they'd cut him and he's out living the high life.

If the Texans offered him any decent amount of money, I'm sure he'd take it. He's a bit of a head case, but Carr is getting killed. They need the help.
