Ah, damn. Why did he have to pull this against the Knicks of all teams? It was almost a guaranteed win if he played and the Nets would have been tied for 4th in the Eastern Confrence! Couldn't he have waited until they played the Rockets. Losing to the Knicks is just too depressing. Rockets I could handle.</p>

Remember the trainer that helped him rehab after his knee surgery claimed that Kidd had the "willpower" to win a marathon?
