doesn't make sense. you win big time, even though no James was in the game, but you get your first big win of the season, and you want to sit out the next day? not cool. I'm not really digging Kidd at the moment. kidd for nash straight up.

i think its what kobe wants right now. if kobe wants Kidd, especially after there summer together, then there GM will have to listen or he'll demand trades again. or Lamar odom

I would assume Odom would have to be involved for salary reasons...it comes down to what other pieces they'll put in there with him.

Ah, damn. Why did he have to pull this against the Knicks of all teams? It was almost a guaranteed win if he played and the Nets would have been tied for 4th in the Eastern Confrence! Couldn't he have waited until they played the Rockets. Losing to the Knicks is just too depressing. Rockets I could handle.

The Nets still could have won against the Knicks if Marbury and Curry had played.

oh, there's no question it is true, it's the first thing I thought when I read the news last night. This is the guy who everyone claims is the greatest competitor they have ever met. Remember the trainer that helped him rehab after his knee surgery claimed that Kidd had the "willpower" to win a marathon? I've run with my shirt soaked with blood, and after being warned that if I run I could suffer a stress fracture and need surgery. and I have nowhere near his willpower. 1+1=2.

    It's hilarious.

He heard Boone had a migrane and just said "I have a migrane, too!"

    Just like a five-year-old.

Maybe we should have a thread about Boone's willpower, then. lol! [Poor Josh. Since this was publicly revealed, I've often wondered how much his migranes hampered him in college. Did you see him stumble to the bench, looking like crap last night? And people wonder if he really wants to play basketball for a living. He's a good kid who put his team first. Now if he could only develop a jumpshot.]

He did look like complete shit and he actually showed up. Head in his lap the entire game though but I don't blame him with the bright lights.

    This is truly unfortunate.

I don't want to see Kidd traded to the Cavs. I despise them. I don't want to see Kidd traded to the Mavs, because that's only too good for their franchise.

I don't want to see him traded to the Lakers because that would be too good for Kobe.

This is a no win situation for us.

You never know. In a freak turn of events, LeBron could demand a trade to the Nets and we could all be happy.

How about the Wizards? Take back Jamieson and his expiring contract, Nick Young, and a pick or two. The Wizards then have a Kidd-Arenas backcourt, insert Blatche into the starting lineup, and presto!.
