Well...Greg did go to college for a year...and Bynum was the youngest player ever drafted...

I know, I never knew that until just now. Haha. Pretty cool how things work out though.

Did you see LG.net? One dude wanted to trade Bynum and Gasol for Howard. I never lost faith in Bynum. Check my posts son, I always defended him. Ask Brian, I've got man love for Bynum.

    Yeah, that's pretty much true...

    "I always defended him"

You're a bandwagoner though. Up until last season you said Bynum was all hype and that he wouldn't be anything more than a Brenden Haywood.

    epic fail.

Good point, I meant this year though. I don't know many Lakers' fans that were willing to keep Bynum around. The majority of us wanted him out of here. And up until last year, we had that right. But then he clicked and became Bynumite.

I don't know if we really had a right to be ripping in to him, in all honesty. The kid came out as a 17 year old and was a huge project, and we knew that when we drafted him. We couldn't have expected him to explode as a rookie or 2nd year guy...that would have been asinine.

    Mamba ripped him, not me.

I just wanted to trade him and LO for Jermaine O'Neal.

I think we were all disappointed in his lack of work ethic and the stories we read about him. Not showing up to practice with Kareem, not paying attention during team meetings, sneaking out of practice and hiding under a desk to eat a bowl of fruit loops.

I love how the stardom hasn't gotten to his head. They were saying today on ABC that if you ask Bynum about himself, he says he is boring. He is a very smart kid. I believe he wants to go back to school and major in engineering. He loves video games. You don't see him out partying a lot. I don't think we'll ever have to worry about this kid losing his dedication.

He plays like this and the title isn't in doubt, barring trades/injuries. I'll keep saying that sh!t till I'm blue in the face, because it's a lock.
