Bynum Injury Thread (Update: Returning Tomorrow Against Denver)

I think the Magic have a better shot at beating them than the Cavs. I've been saying it all year that the Cavs are incredibly overrated. They're 2-6 against the other top 3 teams in the NBA, not a good sign if you want to get far in the playoffs.

And for what it's worth, I think the Celtics have a very good shot at going back to the Finals, again though, I'm not high on the Cavs at all.

 

They're actually 1-5. Should be 1-6. Celtics are not a top 3 team without KG.

 

Word. With Bynum back, I don't know if there's going to be a team in the West that can compete with us. Not only does it make our starting lineup stronger since Pau moves back ot his original position, it also strengthens our bench because Odom goes back there, which should make things easier for Farmar, Sasha, and the rest of the gang.

 

Very true on the KG note, but I believe he's supposed to be back in time for the playoffs. For their sake though, he needs to be as close to 100% as he can be.

 

Where did you hear this? I have not seen/read this, so I'm just curious.

 

Yeah, that's true. I think we can make it through 2 rounds with him not at full strength, but we need him at 100% to compete with the Cavs and Lakers.

 

I think it really depends on who you get in the 2nd round. I think the Hawks could give you problems again, but that's really about it. The Magic could give you problems if you're not healthy, but I don't think you'd have to face them until the Finals. If you face them without a healthy KG though, Dwight Howard would manhandle that frontline.
