Aha, I came into the Lakers forum looking forward to create a thread about Bynum. Man, I love this guy and the way he plays. He isn't scared of anyone.

I started liking him when I watched the game and how he was competing with Shaq. Til Shaq tip dunked on Bynum... HARD. Bynum went to the other end, DEMANDED the ball, and while Shaq was all hyped up ... he did his post move - faking a shot to one side ... getting Shaq to jump and dunking on Shaq's ass on the other side.

Now he went back and bumped Shaq with that "What now biotch" kinda attitude. Gotta love that kinda attitude.

Lakers got themselves a lot of potential in Bynum! [IMG]

Bynum is playing well thus far. In 19 minutes a game, he's averaging 11/7/2 with 1.33 blocks while shooting 59%. However, he's averaging 2.7 turnovers and 3 fouls in those 19 minutes. I'm sure he'll cut them down, I think he's too anxious to play because he know's he playing for a starting spot.

Another factor I like is that he's getting to the FT line 5.3 times a game in just 19 minutes(while shooting 75%). They've listed him as 7"0", but I'm sure he's 7"2"?

There's only been 3 games so the stats may be a little misleading but it looks as if he'll average 20/10/3 with 2 blocks a game while shooting 55%. He's also shown he is a great passer of the ball so it should benefit our guards.

If Bynum can play 35 minutes a game day in day out with some consistancy and without getting fatigued, he should be starting as a center ahead of Kwame and Mihm.

I do notice that he slouches and puts his head down everytime he screws up. He needs to knock that off!! He looks like a child when he does that.. He needs to come back from a play like that full of energy the way Turaif looks after he screwed up a play... Then again, Turaif is out of this world..

I noticed he doesn't play hard on defense we he doesn't get touches on offense. He needs to take a little more pride on how he can help the Lakers defensively and controlling the rebonds more. With Bynum's size and the amount of time he spends in the paint, he should get 10 boards easily, and 12 to 15 if he really gets after it.
