But he let Yao grab 13 rebounds.

Fronting defense makes it a lot easier to do so.. oh and both teams shooting like crap makes a lot of misses to be had.

No, the rest of the team let Yao grab 13 rebounds. Greg did his job, the guards and forwards did not.

Dude your hilarious. One night Oden scores 8 pts and you're all over his junk. The next night he plays the best defense we've seen him play all year and you criticize him because Yao got 13 rebs in 40 mins of play. Give me a damn break. How's this, Oden had as many offensive boards as Yao in half the playing time. Greg's rebounding was not the problem.

A fronting defense will always allow the offensive player to get more boards. Nate called for the fronting defense.

    Learn the game then post.

I have a theory: KingSpeed is actually two people who share a windows login. One doesn't like the other right now, and posts a lot of stupid crap to make him look bad. It's a lot like the theory that Ben Affleck is actually twins, and both star in movies as Ben Affleck. But, only one can act.

    :drumroll:

Maybe, but you've been around a long time and through the various migrations. If that's what going on, the guy that wants to make him look dumb posts a LOT more.

This is also Bynum's first taste of the playoffs and he's coming off another knee injury. I give him credit for actually doing the necessary rehab and PT to make it back to the court. He's only been productive in one game for the Lakers and looks overwhelmed thus far. I don't think it has anything to do with his ability though. He's just inexperienced in the post season and hasn't had enough time to shake off the rust.

Actually YAO barely got any offensive rebounds, his rebounds were all easy defensive rebounds. It's pretty amazing to see Oden's growth, he's starting to become that amazing defender we know he can be.

How so? Oden blocked out Yao but the other Blazers made sure Yao got the rebounds anyway? How?

What's the point of this thread?

    Who can suck the least?

    Bynum's play has been underwhelming.

    Oden has been Oden: embarrassing.

Oden is averaging 0.5 blocks a game. 4 rebs? I thought this guy was supposed to bring us rebounding and defense. Where is it? He's not even an effective role player, let alone a #1 pick.

Did you watch him on Yao in game 3? Also have you heard of micro-fracture surgery?

Yao is a 7'6" perennial all star who gives everyone matchup problems. Greg is a rookie.

What did you expect when Joel can't even be effective rebounding against Yao?

Derick Rose plays like a 1st overall pick. The guy is a beast.

Oden should be ashamed. I know his knee isn't 100% but his skill level is atrocious. His baby hook is the most ridged piece of shit I've ever seen. The guy can touch the rim on his tippy toes, his head is 3 ft from the rim, he should be dunking anything close to the rim.
