It's too easy for people who shouldn't have knives to get ahold of them. Should probably require a background check for any knife purchases. As well as mandate a serial number for all knives.
You're wrong, the knife is not a deadly weapon. It's a cooking utensil. He was having a BBQ on the street. Instead of shooting the guy, the cops should have asked him to slice them some brisket.
So you’re saying there’s more limits on owning a knife in California than there is in owning an AK in Texas? Wow.
No. This law refers to carrying a knife out in public, not ownership. And its specific to the City of LA.
Do most people throw a knife holding it by the hilt? Well no wonder he wasn't happy to see the police. Almost self defense on his part of you think about it.
No thanks. You have too much practice with those machetes. The further away you are though, the harder it is to hit someone with a knife. Really, I'm just saying those cops should have backed up and tried to calm that situation. Instead, they moved toward him and made shit worse.
AK-47 has a fully automatic setting, which is illegal in the United States. Models with semi-automatic settings are available and legal in the U.S. Manufacturers cannot make or import fully automatic weapons for the civilian market.
I heard more about this story. Supposedly this guy already stabbed someone. So that does seem to escalate things a bit.
He raised his arm. But, if he was going to throw it he would have. Their shooting didn't stop him from getting a throw off.
