I still think there's a real chance that we start hearing great things about him out of training camp and he beats out Hart and Nas to start at SF. We're talking about a guy that was number one in his draft class and may have been taken first ahead of Paolo and the rest if he had played against them during the second half of the NCAA season that he was eligible for. Or maybe he's two years away from being two years away. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Ideally our starting lineup of the future is Ant, Sharpe, Nas. Only way Shaedon starts this year is if Nas and Hart go down injured.

Shaedon wont start at three but I do expect him to get 12-15 mpg at some point, between 2/3.

With what we've seen from much of the team this preseason, I'd hope he gets a notable share of minutes in the regular season.

I just hope that Sharpe takes a page out of Dames loyalty program and doesn’t want to jump to a larger market.

From local media guys' podcasts on the Blazers, it sounds like Little isn't all the way ready after his injuries and time off. Not that it's about something wrong so much as not playing well and not claiming the position. Then the talk focuses on Hart being the best player, now, but maybe better for the 2nd unit to play like Billups wants (up tempo ... which isn't a great fit for Nurkic and Lillard). That leaves Winslow who has his positives and greater size than Hart.

I do expect -- like others here -- that Josh Hart gets traded to address the SF spot in a bigger trade or shoring up PF/C. The wildcard is Sharpe. If the position isn't fixed with a consolidation trade for a better, bigger SF, then the door is open for Sharpe. He may not be able to walk through and take the position, yet, but it's like when Nico Batum started 76 of 79 games as a rookie (though at only 18.4 minutes per). There was an opportunity and he fit best. It took a bit for him to claim the position and inconsistency eventually shipped him off to Charlotte. That's where the 'idea' of Sharpe together with Cronin being pretty explicit about the team seeing changes has me thinking they see him as the SF solution during Dame's timeline ... just not yet.

It does sound like the first 20 games, or a bit more, are about seeing what they have and how guys fit with each other and scheme. I don't expect to see much of Sharpe until after then. If he surprises like Batum did -- even with limited minutes -- then the equation quickly changes. Make the move in January/February.

I love this kid. I see it. He has it. He is smoooooth. Barely sweats, not through lack of effort, but being smart enough to know when to turn it on already. The game is effortless for him already.
He will be starting by seasons end.
    Calling it now.

He's been really solid on defense. Tonight he looked like he sured up his handle and wasn't giving the ball away as much. He got to his spots a lot and was just short arming his jumper which looks great and tells me the guy does have some nerves going on and who wouldn't. An 6'6", 7' wingspan, athletic freak that works really hard, doesn't get out of position a lot on defense and has a really nice looking jumper. This dude will be a big time star in the league somewhere between an all star a few times and the best player in the game.

I'm not high and that's what I think Shaedon's range is if he's healthy. I think his floor is the kind of star that gets into two or three all star games (even though Iggy hasn't made the all star team that many times think Andre Iguodala but not necessarily playing on the teams Iggy's played on, just that level of player) and his ceiling is the best player in the league... like a multiple time MVP. I don't think that's very wild when you look at what the kid can already do and moreso what it points towards him being able to do. I think the most likely place he finds himself is multiple time all nba player like a Paul George level guy.
