If the Blazers continue to play like they did after the 1st Quarter last night, I'll be tempted to declare calm waters.

Now that Oden is seemingly getting more and more comfortable with our team - and the NBA as a whole - it opens up many, many more opportunities for the rest of the guys. I watched last night's game (against the Bulls) with much anticipation/hope as I was seeing ball movement - being passed inside-out from the block, extra passes being made for wide open jumpers, etc. - and a higher level of play as a whole. Granted, this was "just" against the Bulls. But, nonetheless, I was encouraged to say the least.

Let's see how all this keeps coming together. Plus, I want to see how Webster meshes with Greg. Based upon last night's efforts, I can only see this as a plus.

    Signed,
At poolside anticipating seeing a reflection

The term, "calm waters" may have been KP's undoing. May actually have been an euphemism for "I love my players too much to part with them."

    I like this thread bump.

What's sad, is everything I thought the team needed then, they still need now.

The waters on top appear to be calm, but just under the surface there's a hell of a riptide that will pull us under.
