You still haven't answered my direct question. Why are you calling out other folks for being bias when your being as big a homer as you want to be?

The bias is only directed at you Dale for your constant implication that the Pats had to cheat. But ok fine so it was a joke. Then you're forgiven [IMG]

Okay guys, how is this for an objective look? Our secondary is in trouble because of Clark, Harrison, Wayne, and anyone else that catches passes for the Colts. Seriously, our secondary scares me against the Colts. With the way it played last game, the front 7 better get to Manning or at least get close enough to him to make him throw when he doesn't want to. Otherwise the Pats are in for a long day. Especially if Brady has another game like he did against San Diego. Throwing 3 picks and giving Manning the ball back 3 times simply will not work. Like Brady, give Manning enough chances and he will beat you.

Thanks. I guess we have 2 things in common then. We both like smart, good looking women and donuts. I just don't like the extra weight the donuts put on me. [IMG] I guess if I exercised like an NFL player I wouldn't have to worry though, huh?

[IMG] inside you must be bummed though b/c now you don't get your chance at redemption & you'll get crushed by the Colts similar to a certain SB game in '86.

No I don't agree with that. Brady played a good game. The defensive line let us down probably b/c they were still recovering from the SD game.

Didn't the Colts play the Ravens last week? It's not exactly like the Colts had a bye week, so I'm not sure I understand the recovering excuse. Before you say it isn't an excuse, when you put a qualifier on why the Pats DL didn't play well, that is an excuse. Period.

The Colts get the credit for taking advantage of it, but yes the DL was clearly not 100%. The Colts didn't have to travel cross country to their previous game.

You guys can try to bait me all you want, but I've already said the Colts earned the W. Unlike last season when I felt the Broncos didn't deserve the win I will be rooting for Indy in Miami.

Hey, you busted my chops last week for supposedly giving half hearted respect to the Patriots. It's pretty obvious that you can't just say that the Colts won and are the better team period. You have to put a qualifier or two on everything. You do know that one reason the Patriots had to travel across the country is because the had a worse record than the Colts so they had to go play the number one seed which means that the Patriots travel woes were a result of the record that the Patriots had earned. If the Patriots wanted to stay at home, they should have won more of their games. That's how it works.

You called them cheats! Half the team was battling the flu but again the Colts earned it.

Actually they ended up tied at 12-4 with the Colts. The lose to Indy(another great battle) back in November broke the tie. It's a rivalry that will continue on as long as Brady & Manning are anchoring the ships. This year the Colts got the better of us.

I guess its okay for you to say that Manning's performance was subpar in the playoffs leading up to the AFC title game as well as add a qualifier to why the Pats lost.

I can't recall which comedian (George Carlin???) said that when you use but that everything before is negated.

You know as well as I do if Dale, Beef, or myself were to spin the phins failures or make excuses for them that we'd face a lynch mob... just like we were held liable for some media experts making the phins their trendy Super Bowl pick heading into this season.

I am not trying to bait you. Just stating facts.

1) Brady Choked.
2) If Brady throws a completion instead of pick, and then a TD, patriots win. So the game was on his shoulders, and he crumbled under the weight.
3) If the situation were reversed, you would be on here talking about how manning chokes in big games.
4) I didnt say brady always chokes.
5) While they have a gaudy 12-2 postseason record, they are a meager 3-2 in the last 2 seasons with 0 championships.
6) The dynasty is dead they will never win another super bowl.
7) Branch would have caught the balls reche dropped and they would have been difference, since one would have been TD instead of FG or 4 points.
8) Asante samuel prolly wont be around after this year and you will fall even farther to mediocrity.
9) Brady - Belichek didnt win any super bowls, an entire patriots team won them, and now most of those guys are gone. Brady and belichek werent the difference. Those players and coaches that left were. Thats why they will never win another super bowl.

This was the franchise that walked out as a collective group one year rather than as individuals, wasn't it?? Now, some fans of said franchise are saying its about individuals?

If this was hockey or hoops then Tommy Boy would have gotten the assisst in all 3 SB wins but Vinatieri would gotten the goal/basket.

1) wrong the Colts made a great play
2) the game was under control until those two 3rd quarter drives that tired our DL
3) No I would have said he gave a great effort to get them back, but we made the play in the end.
4) No but he didnt choke here
5) true
6) we'll see
7) any average WR would have caught those 2, but it's hard to say they would have made a difference.
8) he probably is gone, but they lost Harrison & Wilson to injury yet they still managed to beat the #1 seed in the #1 conference. Btw we have an extra #1 pick thanks to the Branch deal so we will have no problem reloading.
9) they said the same thing when Milloy & Law left. You can't say Adam was the difference either btw. Gostkowski proved worthy of a 3rd round pick. The Colts had all the talent in the world & had been labeled a failure up until last night. The Pats will be back.
