If Notre Dame goes undefeated, there will be a lot of pollsters who choose to put them #2. In all reality, if they beat Oklahoma (which might actually happen), a lot of pollsters will put them #2 tomorrow. I don't think things are as cut and dried as you think.

The pollsters sure, the computers no. BTW, I love the fact that Notre Dame is relevant again.

What makes you think the computers are going to rank Oregon so highly, especially when Notre Dame and Kansas State's schedules have been so much tougher? And if the polls are 2/3 of the formula, who says that computer rankings would help us overcome that?

All I'm saying is that there are a lot of factors at play, and assuming that they'll all work out in Oregon's favor is a touch myopic.

I don't know. ND travels and seems to have a wide following. I can see us getting shoved out of the way for them.

Well, all we can do is keep winning and hope for the best.

This Notre Dame offense is looking versatile and efficient in their first series of the second half. If the Irish can actually generate legit offense, they might well be a championship caliber team.
