Dolan is a clown, but he's been far from a horrible owner of this team. He remodeled MSG and to my knowledge didn't ask for a single penny from the city. Go ask the Mets and Yankees about their shiny new, taxpayer-paid stadiums. Before the cap was implemented the Rangers were among the highest payrolls in the sport, if not the highest, basically every year and to this day spend as much as they are allowed to by the rules.

The GM's may not have been the greatest but they were all given basically a blank check to put the best team on the ice.

If an owner doesn't know anything about hockey why would you want him involved? This team's success is on Sather, Dolan has never rejected any player Sather has wanted over the years.

I've said 100 times. In hockey, when you don't tank seasons on purpose, it's pretty hard to win titles. I think this team at the end of season with a healthy Nash and one more good trade can contend for a cup. They have badly outplayed the Bruins, Ducks, Kings and a lot of the game, the Blues but Biron blew. That with Nash mostly not playing or just back and not in shape.

I was laughing when I remembered the moron Maple Leafs traded Tuukka Rask for Raycroft. What a bunch of tools.
