The Eagles seem to be in great shape for the next 7-10 years. They manage the cap better than any other front office, and will consistently have 15 plus million to spend. I recently saw the cap space they have for the next several years and it showed at one point they have 25 free. It's a great situation for Eagles fans. The Pats also do a good job, but they don't need the best players, because Bill is a genius and can work with anyone.

Don't you relize tht none of the eagle fans in these forums have said nothing good about the running backs on the eagles? I don't think u can win a SB without a descent running back. Westbrook and Buckhaulter just won't do the job.

the eagles have decent runningbacks, Westbrook had 11 TDs last year and averaged over 5 yards per carry. Buck was in his first year back since ACL tear and surgery, and history says that athletes usually have ok years the first year returning, but the second year back they are alot better than ever. buck was a really good runner before he got hurt.

Pats just won the SB without a decent back FYI, MM

Faulk and Smith are better than Buck and Westbrook.

    Faulk-03 stats. 178 Attempts

    638 3.6 23 0

    Buckhalter 126 Attempts
    Y A L TD
    542 4.3 64 8

    Smith- 182 Carries
    Y A L TD
    642 3.5 30 3

    Westbrook-117 Attempts
    Y A L TD
    613 5.2 62 7

    Eagles Duo- 243 Attempts-1155 Yards-4.8 AVG-64 Long-15 TDs(rushing)
    Pats Duo-360 Attempts-1280 Yards- 3.5 AVG-30 Long-3 TDs(Rushing)

I dont even think Pats or PatriotM would dissagree with me on this.

Our 2 will have more carries this year because duce is gone.

Yea but the reason why they did so good is because they had Staley loosen the D and would put them in when the game was over.

Duce had less than 100 Attempts last year, and was the 3rd back. Stop talking why you are way behind,

You got that right. We couldn't run through an amsterdamn whore house never mind a hole. Antowain was good but only in december in the playoffs other than that the running game was non existant all season.

Nice analogy Pats, MystreyMan, our running backs sucked. We had a version of ''the 3headed monster'' with Faulk, Smith and Cloud, but none of them were nearly as good as any of Philly's runningbacks. The benefit of having 3heards, is that they are all always fresh, and don't get winded. Philly's RBS were all good solid backs, but I doubt any of them(Duce Staley aside) could carry a team. Ours could barely carry the running load between the 3 of them.

our running backs arent the best... but in the 4th quarter of games and them all fresh and the defense a bit tired... swe could get stuff done

i even know hes not that good, plus he wont get the carries, plus he is to injury prone, the only way hed make it is by ST, but hell barely do that this year. comeon NFLfan,
