If you don't think the refs played a major role in this loss then idk what to tell you. The rangers didn't score, no. But anytime they started to get rolling the refs intervened with a bad call. And while we had "5" PPs, one was only 25 seconds as they called that phantom call on Kreider and screwed us outta a great opportunity to score. So while not 100% the refs fault, if you can sit there and honestly say that that game was officiated in a non bias fashion then I got a bridge I wanna sell you.

I understand that Chuck, but the Canadiens did score on what should never have been a powerplay, and then get their 2nd goal when the Rangers were trying pushing everyone forward trying to equalize. Could they have earned a point taking this to overtime, or possibly a shootout win? Unfortunately we will never know.

Pyatt should be gone. Kristo should be up. That is a move I make now. Hags back tomorrow night. Cally back in 2 weeks or so. Then we can go from there. Nash I am not even discussing anymore, no point right now.

Your right to feel however you want, but I simply cannot get on the refs when we had 5 PP's to their 6. Did nothing with those PP's. And didn't score a goal. I can't do it jam. But that is your right of course.

I thought they played pretty well, but with Stepan doing nothing to alleviate the roster losses and no dman with any kind of shot they can't generate enough. They need to sit Pyatt for certain with Hagelin back. On the plus side Kreider and Fast look very good so far. They need to make some sort of deal for a Zidlicky/Oduya type. They continue to miss a ton of nets as usual.

They continue to not address such a simple thing every offseason, hoping DZ turns into that guy which is crazy.

You're right Chuck the Rangers did miss plenty of opportunities, but once again in a game against the Canadiens the referee comes into play. Did they lose because of the refs? No, but they did have a hand in this loss. Right now the Rangers need to concentrate on getting guys in front of the net on shots from the point. And for the life of me, I do not understand why Pyatt doesn't do that.

The Pyatt thing is what it is. He is utterly useless and just needs to be cut. But to me the DZ thing is the biggest mystery going. I simply do not understand why they don't deal this kid. It continues to blow my mind. What are they going to do with him this summer? Are they really going to give him a long term deal? I truly hope not.

You and I, and probably most of the people on this board feel the same way about DZ, and if he gets a long term deal ... I'll leave it at that

Been to the home opener. We still cannot beat beat Montreal. Refs were horrible. The team
was so hyped. Showed no discipline and were duped into too many errors.....they were
intimidated by the Montreal team & the refs. Showed no movement in front of Budaj.......
how can you have players of size and not use them in front of the opposing goalie. Budaj
saw everything thrown at him. Great atmosphere. The team just did not play well.
