I keep seeing multiple talking heads with the take that the Warriors will destroy either Portland or Denver. I think both of these teams have shown they can hang with the Warriors. They may not beat them, but I give both teams a realistic shot. Am I out of my mind?

They can't lose more than 2 games in a series.

Their top 4 players are better and you can't deal with a team that throws moving screens at you all game long.

If your Center is your best player against the Warriors, they will smoke you and destroy you.

Yea they can be beat and if Durant can't play then they really can be beat. I was surprised they won last night against Houston but they did. I think it would good series between either Denver or us and I hope it us. Golden State is not has scary as they once was in the past.

With gods help we advance into WCF, Warriors are toast without KD. Dame will go ....NUCLEAR ☢️ !!!!! I think this would be Dames shining moment and theyre defense on him would be much worse than what denver had on him. The way i look at it win game 7 tmrw and we are going to the finals

If GS is healthy I'd say it about 100-1. Sure it could happen in theory, Denver or Portland could make all sorts of crazy shots and GS goes cold. But over 7 games that's just not realistic.

If Durant or Curry are hurt it becomes way more possible, I'd still say GS is something like a 70% favorite though.

It would be great to have the Blazers get this chance. Need to win one game!

I think there is a lot of "Ifs" in order to do it, but those ifs are possible.
If Durant is out and GS is over confident going into game one or two then yes Denver or Portland could steal a game on the road.
Then maybe Durant comes back and is not ready and takes too many shots away from, Curry and Thompson........maybe you win both at home???
You would still have to win game 6 though..

Bottom line is Durant needs to start off on the bench and then join the team after a couple games, and not play well.

"The Warriors defeat can only come from within. No house can bear the likes of Draymon, KD, and Cousins.
Their golden cup runneth over with assholes."

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Denver matches up really poorly with the Warriors. Their last three match-ups were slaughters by Golden State. No Durant might close that gap a bit, but not enough for Denver to win, IMO.

The Blazers would have a small chance if Durant is still out and Lillard/McCollum are on fire all series. But the Durant-less Warriors team just beat Houston in Houston and Houston (as they were by the end of the season) is a better team than Portland. Houston started off the season terribly, but were playing at an elite level by the end of the regular season.

So, no, I think the Warriors just punched their ticket to the Finals. But strange, unforeseen things can happen.

Golden St can’t guard our guards like Denver is and most definitely won’t have as big, if any, advantage in the post. If we get there and win one of two to open I like our chances.

But we gotta win tomorrow first. Tall task

I would like to think the Blazers have an excellent chance against the Warriors if they play Stotts' ball well.

The last couple of seasons warriors have an extra gear in the playoff's they can grab. This year they seem not to have that gear that being said they are still a dam good team but this year it just seems like they aren't as bulletproof as they were in the years past.
