The problem is, you're only ONE face in the crowd. If you REALLY want to cause opponents to miss their free throws, you need a group effort.

Something like EVERYONE sitting behond the basket moon the FT shooter, in unison, right as he's preparing to release the ball.

I bet that would have a MUCH higher success rate.

If the whole crowd does the same thing, the shooter can zone them out.

Yup. Its like an annoying blip in an otherwise harmonious landscape. It just bugs.

Does Free Throw guy just go to the game by himself? Just seems so focused!

Free Throw Guy definitely needs to have some tenure before we can start talking about this. You don't select someone for the Hall of Fame in their rookie year.

I absolutely despise Jimmy Fallon.. but his impersonations are pretty damn good. He nailed this! Also his Jerry Seinfeld was near flawless.

He always seems so uncomfortable on his show, but when he's acting he's pretty good.

I was watching some college b-ball game and when one of the home players was shooting a FT, some dude on the baseline on the opposite side of the court held up a HUGE cut-out of the dude's face. So when he's shooting the FT, you'd see a giant head of the guy floating around in the background, pretty fucking funny. If Blazers made a deep playoff run I'd totally do that shit.

havent watched his show to be honest. I mainly hated him from his SNL work lol. Maybe its the live aspect of it. Is it still the "look at the camera and laugh while trying to say his lines" uncomfortable?

It's the "I can't read jokes from cue cards without sounding like I'm reading jokes from cue cards" uncomfortable.

i saw him open for dennis leary at the comics come home show in boston last year and went through like 20 impersonations in 2 minutes, and did really well, which surprised me, because i hate his intestines.

Props to free throw guy. My wife and I have enjoyed watching him attempt to make the opponent miss this season. Keep up the good work man. Also, if any of the "camera seekers" who sit in front of him are reading this, please sit down and let him do his thing. Thank you.
