Yeah, rookies can never play. Amazing point.

Nas’ improvements didn’t start this season, btw.

Correct he improved last year before the season "paused"
But to be clear he was just under 24 % from 3s and 64% from the line.
Basically, he was shooting like most young rookies. And Tery still played him in 48 games of a shortened season.

He will become an Elite player in future. He's a Mix of Jaylen Brown and Kawhi

Yeah, because that was my point. He wasn't a sure thing lottery pick 4 years starter on his college team. Let's not act like Stotts (who I don't like and think should be canned) unjustly benched Little.

Ya he knows. But his hate for our head coach blinds what little common sense is rattling around up there.

Wow, an “elite” player? Can you please tell me who you believe is an “elite” player in the NBA right now that he will end up on their level.

When your other options are Tolliver and Mario Hezonja, hell yeah it was an unjustified benching.

But, Stotts does that with rookies and we all know it. To suggest otherwise is silly. Shoot, we would have never known what we had in Trent if it wasn't for Ariza not making the playoffs.

    Hello darkness, my old friend
Let's set our expectations somewhere reasonable. We went through this same "wild hype cycle" with a young Batum, where people compared him to Kawhi Leonard and even Scottie Pippen. Batum turned out to be a very nice player (if Little becomes Batum, that would be awesome), but was still disappointing to some due to not turning into a two-way superstar (despite outperforming his draft slot).

Why set up Little to potentially be a very good player who disappoints based on ridiculous expectations?

This will be the post that gets brought up the most if nas doesn't live up to these now very lofty expectations.

I love nas, but let's not say he's a shoe-in to be an elite like those two based off of a few games.

Exactly. So he is the next Kawhi now.....shit! No wonder everybody is so fucking negative around here. They expect LeBron James and get Kevin James!

His three point shooting has been a surprise. I really wasn't expecting it but it has been one of the real high points of this season.

I'm looking at him to develop into an OG Anunoby type. Shoot threes, drive close outs, play hard, get rebounds and hustle your ass off on defense. That's a 15-20 million per year player. I think he has the tools to become a star player, but I want to temper my expectations.

How are we gonna afford all these dudes?

    Nas
    GTJ
    Simons

I ain’t paying Collins shit. Nurk will be up for an extension soon. I’d like to keep Kanter.

I'm looking for Ant to play well enough that we can trade him. Nas has 2 years after this year, that's fine. Losing Gary would suck. Losing Gary for nothing would be a massive failure.

Gary and Nassir are keepers. I think you use Ant to upgrade the 4 position.

As much as I love Nurk, he's not going to get 12 mil again per season. Kanter will never get more than the MLE.

I would package CJ, Ant, and Collins for a legit star.

Basketball-Reference lists Nas strictly as a PF.

And his college coach wasn't even starting him! This is beginning to look like a conspiracy!!!!
