Ironically, so is the subject of this thread - Brandon Rush. Go back and look at his game logs from his first two seasons. He had multiple great games, bit also many more games where he totally stunk. For example, his rookie season he had 6 games where he scored between 21 and 29 points, but still had a PER of only 9.0 for the season. As you say, terribly inconsistent. BNM
I never said Rush was a great player. I wouldnt trade Oden for him and I dont think he would immediately make us a contender. Just said that we lost him for nothing and he's a good shooter. That's all that we would need him for. But it was said here that Lopez would make us an instant contender and that is laughable.
I know you're doing you're usual shtick but Brook Lopez is indeed shooting the same amount of jumpers this year as Aldridge, both at 64% of their shot selection. That's not going to get it done. He's not an elite rebounder, either. He's kind of like the C version of LaMarcus Aldridge.
You're AGREEING with me. Read the thread. Someone else said Lopez would make us a contender. I said Hell no. Lopez is a horrible center. 6 rebounds per game. 42% shooting from the field. Can't defend Shaq. I'd much rather have Oden than Lopez. And it's not close. By the way, Aldridge is better than Lopez too. Better shooter. Better rebounder. Lopez is a dud.
Yes, Lopez is as soft as they come. He also gets abused downlow by other mediocre Centers. There's about 5 or 6 centers in the east that are better than him.
