Can you do Sign-and-trades any more?

Given the current coaching staff and current roster construction (besides adding 1 Green/Buttler player) - no I don't.

If Collins & Nurk can improve significantly, we swap out CJ for a second 2-way player, and coaching improves (ball movement increases, emphasize the fast break more, better shot selection, and more player accountibility) - then adding a Butter/Green player would vault us to contender status.

Basically, I still think we are a long ways away

 

Is this even in theory possible: New Orleans and Cleveland sign-and-trade LeBron for Cousins?

That kind of makes sense:
LeBron gets a teammate who may be better than anyone on Golden State
Cavs draft Trae Young and are kind of fun
Cousins gets paid a shit ton, probably more than he could get from the Mavs or Lakers

So... could it work?

 

I don't think he wants to go to the west unless it is GS or Houston as it would be too hard to make the finals.

 

He can come here and make us contenders. Add him to our roster and we can compete with either Houston or GSW and would annihilate anyone in the East.

 

If LeBron goes to GSW, they should just cancel the entire season, put the Warriors in the books as going 82-0 during the regular season and winning the next three championships (at least). It would make all other 29 teams completely irrelevant. At least this year, we had two other teams that had a puncher's chance.
