<div class="quote_poster">Quoting 831 Shogun:</div><div class="quote_post">I like that you mention one star per team because that's what Denver has right now. I think this kid can do big things for the Nuggets and some of that magic this year. Like all things we'll have to see, but there is the possibility. No doubt in a few years they will become the premiere team in the Midwest. :pimp:</div>

I guess you answered your own question. They might own the division in a FEW YEARS. But not this year. I mentioned those stars because of their status and their ability to carry a team. They've done it before and they can still do it this year.

In a few years, they will dominate their division. This year it seems to be a little slim. So that's why I raise the question. This division doesn't seem to have anybody who wants to step up to the plate and sieze it! So That's why Denver is a legitamate contender for the division crown.

I like to see new faces in old places. I don't want to see Dallas or San An win fight for that division for times to come. It would good for some fresh blood and new faces to take over. And it might happen this year.

^ I agree. ALthough as much as I want to see them to take it this year, it's just not possible.

If the playoffs started today the would have the 4th seed for homecourt in the first round.

Actually, since they are in the lead of their division, they get at least #2 seed.
