Well Canada might have more jobs because unlike in the US they don't have 50 million wetback willing to work for 3 bucks an hour.

Most of those who are arguing with you, have probably never even been outside their country anyway, and tell me how someone can say "We're the best country in the world" when they've never lived in any of the other countries in the world? How blatantly ignorant is that? Nobody can claim their country as "the best" simply because they've never lived in all the other countries in the world! But see, you'll never get the arrogant/patriotic yanks to agree with the reality that another country is actually BETTER than their own, you're fighting a battle you can't win, because most of 'em can't see outside of the toilet in which they float.

Canada's health care may be free and their dental care may be free but you have to wait months for it and it isn't neccesarily the best qualityI've been in both countries...USA is better by farThe only thing better about Canada is how peaceful it is..it's very quiet..I kind of like it but I also like to live...sorry Canada but you aren't the best country..very boring and too many snobby french-canadians who think they're the best..they get it from that French influence though Canada is probably the country where most people think it's the best for all the wrong reasons..and don't get bashed for it like people in the US doIf Canada was in trouble I'm sure they'de call on the strong US military to protect the weak Canadian militaryHonestly..do you guys even have a standing army or do you just prepare for war after disaster already strikes?Also..I know using Wikipedia as a source isn't the brighest idea but Canada has a substantially larger amount of people in poverty than the United states doesI wanna say this again...Canadians overrate their country so much..and don't get blasted for it like Americans do

What the hell is wrong with an American believing America is the greatest country in the world? It's not that big of a reach. I mean we have the strongest military in the world, tons of people want to be US citizens, we have tons of rights and freedoms, we have a very high standard of living, we are a proud country...etc... "OMG your a typical American ignoramus...you know nothing of the world." Shutup.

That's what I thought. <div class='quotetop'>QUOTE </div><div class='quotemain'>"OMG your a typical American ignoramus...you know nothing of the world." Shutup.</div>You said that, I didn't. Your arrogant ignorance speaks for itself. The fact you're retaliating by telling me to "shut up" suggests an air of defensiveness, presumably because I've incited you with my previous posting of reality. And that's understandable, as when the idea of something different/better is being presented to a yank such as yourself, it's very difficult for them to even attempt to comprehend the truth. Thus, they end up getting pissed or defensive and use a retort very similar to yours.Do me a favour oh 19 year old wanderer of the world, check this link out:http://www.aztlan.net/iraqi_women_raped.htmProud to be an "american" now? Come back to me when you can make your own logical conclusions and opinions, because you're just spewing out the same old tired rhetoric you're used to hearing at home/school/fox news, etc. it's quite sad that someone as young as you (and many other young teens like yourself) are so impressionable, and have the wrong ideas/lack of morals/intelligence/rationale impressed upon you at such a young age.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but which armed conflict around the world has not had instances of rape, murder and accusations of atrocities? My grandpa served in WW2, was decorated and did a hell of a job and my dad served in Vietnam. I am in college to be a police officer and currently work for my department and you come in and say I lack morality? Where do you get that from? You don't know a damn thing about me and my beliefs and you'd be damn suprised by what I know about politics, history and world problems. Ask any member on this forum. So impressionable? My mom and dad are both hardcore Democrats, I am a moderate, I was against the war in Iraq to begin with. I am not voting for who my family is voting for because I look into things for myself. Oh, and I hate Fox News and never watch it. I hate Bill O'Reilly. I think America is the best country in the world and I love this country...thats just my opinion. You can stereotype me into some Fox News watching Republican with no morality if you want....but again, you don't know anything about me.
I love how people who live outside of the United States think that all Americans know nothing about other countriesLike you've lived in america lolit's called nationalism f*cking idiotthe reason there hasn't been a war on American soil in nearly 1 1/2 centuries is because this country's strong and will remain strong......suck it up you know it all foreigners

And judging from your defensive response, you seem like you'd be just so inclined to do exactly that, thus eliminating the point of said hypothetical "quiz" anyway. The internet is a powerful resource. And Brew City, fair enough. I assumed, and I can admit when I'm wrong. But I still stand by my statements of the ignorance and arrogance of the US as a whole. It's disgusting and convoluted. NO country is known for it's complete disrespect and defiance of anything OUTSIDE it's own nation, MORESO than the US, regardless of how proud the Canadians or the British are of their respective countries.

Americans actually do know quite a bit about the world, these surveys seem to find the most ignorant amonst us to put on TV. A few years ago I was downtown and some Aussies were doing a survey asking people basic questions about the US, they asked me the questions and after five questioned stopped because I was getting them right; instead they went to the guy picking trash out of a dumpster to ask him. He's not going to know what day of the week it is, let alone who the speaker of the house is. after that I lost all respect for these types of things, because it's obvious they filter the results. Most people who graduated from high school can answer the types of questions these surveys ask.as for not have been to other countries; I've been to the Mexico, Canada, Israel, Egypt, and Martinique. I lived in Canada for a few weeks on my cousins so called farm, I know six weeks on a dirt patch isn't going to give me a whole lot of insight but it did teach me the US is better than Canada. Here is also the way you can really tell weather one country is better than anyother, follow the direction of the Immigrants. few Americans are emigrating away, but there is a whole hell of a lot of people trying to immigrate here.

Which is the best to live?Canada was ranked a better place to live in by every single organization that ranks these things. Better economy?US but its all goodBetter government? You know you would rather have anyone over Bush...Overall Winner: Canada
