Canzano: Blazer Fans and the Front Office suck!

Canzano is right on a few things.

This team is too good to land a top-10 pick.

It's Dame/CJ and the rest are either role players or projects.

We're in a weird spot - the grey area between doormat and purgatory.

 

Assuming Damian and McCollum play all 82 games you're probably right, if either one misses significant time this team is going to struggle like hell to score.

 

Canzano judges everyone by whether they obey his conservative religion.

The other two were more confident black men.

Booze and drugs: Canzano persecuted Oden for having booze with 3-4 friends at his tiny home parties, while he was unable to play for many months at a time. Canzano constantly mentioned rumors of smelling marijuana on someone's breath, yellow Hummer jokes, etc.

Canzano's right-wing cultural revolution will never succeed. It's against the will of the people. Just as he says we should blame Blazer management, not Aldridge, let's extend similar responsibility to the Oregonian. Which editors have kept Canzano in power for so many years? In any other paper, top writers don't last this long. They get promoted, go private to write a book, or move on to bigger periodicals. But no other paper wants this hack. So maybe we should extend our dislike of Canzano to hating his managers at the Oregonian, whose purpose is to enable his and their ideology.

 

When I was a kid I was with a group that got to give the players high fives when they ran on the court. Me and my mom were the first ones to walk back through the tunnel. We ran into ZBo, and my mom asked him for a picture with me (she had her camera ready). He said "No, I gotta get out there (on the court)". That was understandable, until he preceeded to slowly stroll up to the concessions and ask for 2 hot dogs...

 

This. Canzano is what he is and no one is gonna change that. All the bitching wont do shit....unless directed at the Oregonian. Blazer fans need to become one united front and agree not to click on his articles. To publicly denounce his work to the Oregonian. Do the same thing I heard a Sports radio host saying the other day..." When I was fed up with a reporter, I didn't argue with him, I just made it known to all in my surroundings that as long as he is here I am not talking about anything..."

Gotta shut him out any and all ways possible and show the Oregonian as long as they keep him around, they will lose our business.
Cancel your subscription and make it clear to the Oregonian why.
Things like that can go a long way if done in unison by the majority.

 

I stopped reading the Oregonian in any form more than a decade ago precisely because of Quick and Canzano. I even sent an email to that effect the last day I went to their site. I'm convinced the problem was their editor just as much as it was them. Who needs them? Not me.
