    I think there's virtually no chance that the Blazers are looking at moving Aldridge. I think that this quote from Jason Quick's article yesterday rings absolutely true as to what Olshey is planning:

    The core is already set: Aldridge, Lillard, Batum & Matthews. He's looking for a center, and backups at PG & SG. He's looking to make the run based on the Detroit aggregate talent model rather than the Big 3 model. No trades this year, Hickson plays out his contract and is cut loose for cap space or possibly used in a S&T.

    Oh, and I forgot to add; Canzano is still a throw shit at the side of the barn and see if it sticks kind of guy.

    So trade a known All-Star for draft picks that may someday become All-Stars.

    May as well trade Lillard, too, and hope that the draft pick you get for him becomes an All-Star.

    Yes. Get rid of an All-Star on a great contract for 2 or 3 lesser players. That's how championship teams are built.
