Carmelo Anthony said he’s done wondering what Knicks management thinks of him and wants to be more “focused’’ on guiding his teammates through this crisis than being any further off-the-court distraction. Anthony provided scant insight Wednesday into his meeting the day prior with Knicks president Phil Jackson other than saying it was “short’’ and confirming he wants to stick it out with the Knicks regardless of his relationship with Jackson by standing firm on not waiving his no-trade clause. Asked if he feels more on the same page with Jackson, Anthony demurred. “We converse when we converse, we talk when we talk,’’ Anthony said. “I’ll leave it at that.’’ Anthony was cryptic, and indicated he didn’t get straight answers on the origins of a hatchet-job column by Jackson confidant Charley Rosen in which Rosen wrote that the Knicks star has “outlived his usefulness in New York.’’ Anthony called it “water off my back.” “The conversation was not that long. We didn’t break bread,’’ Anthony said. “We didn’t have hours of conversation. It was a short conversation.” - See more at:http://nypost.com/2017/01/18/carmelo-done-caring-about-phil-jackson-after-short-summit/
