    With all due repsect you can not compare the giants and the bears defenses! Also, the wethaer in Chicago may be pretty cold and the noise these fans will make seeing as it is their first legitmate chane to win a superbowl for a long time (not counting 2001)

    Even if your linebackers pick of 12 passes, force 10 fumbles, and make 100 tackes, with 20 sacks. It doesnt mean they are better, it is only ONE GAME. Look at the seasons body of work, and it is clear who is better. So we have already seen whose linebackers are better, the bears, we dont have to wait til sunday. I dont doubt you do think Morgan is the best LB in league. You clearly are biased to panthers. You think thomas davis is good, and he is a bust.</div>
    Thomas Davis had a huge sack against the giants on sunday, i know Thomas Davis is not going to be a bust. He doesnt miss hardly any tackles, and did great agaisnt covering jermey shockey one on one when he was asked to

    I mean Ray Lewis is a great Linebacker and all, I just think Thomas do to his draft status and him supposedly being to small makes him the best. I mean they guy was basically considered to have no chance in the NFL, how can you not love an underdog story like that.

    Ulracher is a good one, no doubt about it but I think he's another media hyped player who is still a very good player but is just glorified when his teammates are doing just as good if not better IE, Michael Vick, Ben Roethlesberger, etc.

    Dan Morgan is another good one but I'd Take Urlacher over him anyday, number one he's from the U so he's bound to smuggle drugs or shoot a hooker at some point in his career, number 2 he has backed up one of the best lines in the NFL for nearly his whole career, not to mention he had Mark Fields, Jessie Armstrong, and Will Witherspoon on the field as the same time as him.

    Jessie Armstead only played one year with the panthers and never even got on the field. Urlacher has a great d-line in front of him also and he has a all-pro LB next to him in Briggs so its not like Urlacher is better because he has worse players in front of him because each have equal players. Both are great LBs that fly to the ball, i think Dan Morgan is better against the pass than Urlacher, but Urlacher is better of getting off a blocker

    You are right, he had a sack vs giants. It was the only play he recorded in the game. I guess, being in as a situtational pass rusher, in a favorable situation, sure paid off. Remember his line vs bears? Here it is:

    0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0 0

    add it up and you get

    a big 0, which is what thomas davis is. Defensive players taken in first rd, who have as minimal impact as davis did . . .

    Well a lot of nfl anylast disagree with you. I just heard today, Solomon Wilcots on Playbook on the nfl network that Thomas Davis is a future star. So im gonna agree with him.

    You are? Really? A panthers fan is going to agree with that? I know more about football than solomon wilcots will ever know. Thomas davis is a bust. He had 38 tackles, 1.5 sacks, and 2 ff this year. Dominant. The sad thing is, a lot of those tackles came on special teams. As a player on D, he is crap. Pure crap

    It's kind of ironic that the 2 of the Chiefs best defensive players were Miami rejects.

    I dont think Urlacher is overrated, he wouldnt have been named to 5 probowls in his career without someone saying "hey hold up, this guy isnt as good as we think"

    I think if you take leadership qualities, getting off blockers and getting to the qb that urlacher is certainly in the top 3 LB's in the league and remember that urlacher was always a strong force even when the bears were not so good on defense only a couple of years ago.

    5 words for all you naysayers.....Defensive Player Of The Year!

    Actually, our Miami players did not shine too brightly this seson. Knight was slightly above average, Surtain was woefully average. I still have high hopes for Pat though. They need to let him press a little more since that is his strong point.

    Kawika Mitchell is our MLB and actually surprised most KC fans with his improved level of play this year (I am purposefully ignoring the fact that he may have discovered steroids during last years off-season).

    I really do like Zach! I was not belittling him (Well, you get my point!)

    He lost the job to Marlon McCree who is turning out to be a great safety. He picked off Eli twice last game, and is the hardest hitter in the secondary. The only reason why Thomas Davis started one game at SS was because Colin Branch was on IR, they moved him from his joker linebacker position and then once they saw how unbelieveable McCree was they decided to move him back to his orginal positon. Thats like Cedric Benson going to FB to help fill and injury and going back to HB. Thomas Davis has done so much better than his first game. He did a good job covering Shockey, and now he is just like Cedric Benson, the person in front of him is playing great football, so untill Thomas Jones or Marlon McCree stop playing like they have, Benson and Davis wont take over
